Dr. Youssef conducted a four-day virtual workshop on various approaches for assessing anaerobic fungal diversity and classification.

The workshop was organized in collaboration with the Anaerobic Fungal Network (https://anaerobicfungi.org/) and was attended by scientists from multiple institutions in the USA, Canada, Germany, China, Austria, Egypt, and Finland.
